LG Optimus G for free?

Hi friends,
Apparently LG Malaysia is giving their latest Smartphone free to lucky winner of their facebook contest. Though I have tried it I am not sure of my luck
. But anyway; do you guys know about this smartphone and is it true that Google Nexus is based on it? Please forgive if I have posted this it in the incorrect category. Any help will be appreciated.
