:::::::HOW TO CHANGE .DDS AND .C3s:::::::
(Note: This is to copy over an already existing casual to make it look on your screen like what you wanted it too, it doesn't change it for everyone else to see.)

1.Download .dds file and .C3 file that you want to wear.
2.Close your game.
3.Copy the .C3 file you downloaded.
4.Go to your Flame-Online folder.
5.Go to C3 folder.
6.Go to Mesh folder inside the C3 folder.
7.Paste .C3 file in Mesh folder.
8.Save over the old one but first >>>> read step 9.
(Optional) 9.Save the old one some where, so you have a copy of the original.
10.Copy the .dds file you downloaded.
11.Go back to C3 folder and go to textures.
12.Paste the .dds file into the texture folder.
13.Save over the old one but first >>>> read step 14.
(Optional) 14. Save the old one some where so you have a copy of the original.
15.Reopen the game and equip the casual you copied over and it should look like what you wanted it too. Very Happy

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Plugins and Programs you need to edit:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
1. You need Photoshop CS3, or hier, or you can use gimp. i cannot provide a link for this as you have to buy it or find another way to get it.
Gimp Download: http://www.gimp.org/
2. XnView so you can view what files are what Via the Thumbnails. Download link ----------> http://download.cnet.com/XnView/3000-2192_4-10067391.html
3. You need the Nividia .dds plugin for CS3. Download link --------> http://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop
4. Or you can get .dds thumbnail viewer and see them threw photoshop.(this avoids having to have xnview)
5. Install the driver into the photoshop CS3 plugin folder inside the photoshop CS3 folder.
6. Your ready to begin editing Casuals, Eudemons, and much more. cheers

To view files via XnView.
1. Open XnView
2. On the left side there is an explorer go to the flames folder location.
3. Then go to c3 folder then textures folder and let the files load and you will see what files are what via the Thumbnails Very Happy
[GUIDE] Basic Editing Xnviewa
(Picture of XnView with textures folder open)

:::::::::THIS IS BASIC EDITTING NOTHING ADVANCED THIS IS JUST TO GET YOU GOING::::::::::
Now editing a casual(or any .DDS file) once you get what one you want.
1. Open Photoshop CS3
2. Go to file click open
3. Now go to your flames folder go to c3 folder then to textures folder
4. Now in XnView go to the same place the textures folder only with this program you will be able to see what each file is via the Thumbnail as u can see in the picture above.
5. Once u get the file your wanting to edit go to photoshop again and at the open screen type in the files name, Then once you get the files name rite hit the open button. (If the open button is greyed out after you typed in the files name make sure its spelled EXACTLY how its spelled and you may also have to add .dds at the end of the file name and once you get the spelling rite it will no longer be greyed out) Now another box will appear just click open.
6. Now once you get the file open click the selection tool (in picture below)
[GUIDE] Basic Editing Selectiontool

7. Select the whole picture and press Ctrl + U (opens Hue/Saturation coloring as shown in picture below)
[GUIDE] Basic Editing Huesaturationcolor

(Im editting a random sword in the textures folder)

Hue = Color
Saturation = Vividness of color from dark to bright (+ = more color, - = Dark or just greyed out image)
Lightness = darken or lighten the entire image(- Darkens the entire image, + lightens the entire image)

8. Now you can drag the sliders back and forth and it will change the color/saturation/lightness of the picture depending on which one you drag. (As you can see in the picture below)
[GUIDE] Basic Editing Simplechange

9. Once you get it to where you like it hit ok and it will make the changes.
10. If you want to you can make a backup of the file before you just save over it.(If your not making backups skip step 11)
11. Go to flames folder go to C3 folder go to textures folder right click on white space go to new and click folder, name it "Backups".
12. Once your ready to save the edited file click file at the top and click "Save As" the image below will appear make sure the settings under the file name are the same as mine here.
[GUIDE] Basic Editing Savescreen

13. Then click save and the screen below will appear, Make sure to change the settings to look like the picture below so you keep your Alpha Channels.
[GUIDE] Basic Editing Saveformat
14. Now close Flames if its open and open it back up and see if the change took effect. If it didn't something didn't go rite in the save process so just close the game and re-save it and make sure the file name is EXACTLY the same as the original file name.
